About the Event
What's the best way to attract a hiring manager? I mean really, if you message them on social media how can you get someone to respond to you. The best word to use here is: strategy.
You need a strategy in the job hunting process - Danielle Germain, CEO of Career Tool Kits can provide that strategy in positioning your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn messages to help land the job you want.
We will do LIVE audits and determine how you can go from interviews to landing the job with an email of congratulations.
Biogrpahy
Danielle Germain is originally from Long Island, New York. She is a graduating senior at The American University, majoring in American Studies and minoring in Political Science and Journalism.
Danielle has held various positions a Peer Facilitator for AUx, the Vice President of Programming for Caribbean Circle and The Social Media Director and Web Manager for The Blackprint. Danielle has also held positions as Programming Coordinator for AU's Founder's Week Committee, Senior Communications Strategist for AUSG Center for Advocacy and Student Equity or CASE, Secretary of the Junior Class Council, a Mentor for Sister Sister AU and a Club Consultant for American University Club Council.
In 2020, Danielle partnered with Sister Sister AU to bring Black Women OWN the Conversation to AU. The series featured intimate conversations about important issues with honest opinions and surprising solutions that put our people first. Danielle hosted both panelists and Black women across a four part dialogue that focuses on beauty, family and friendships, love, and mental health. The goal was to bring 100 Black Men and Women into the space each week. Inspired by "OWN Spotlight: Black Women OWN the Conversation" Danielle wanted to bring these necessary topics to AU's campus for black women, and people of color.
